Compulsory Communication of Accommodation for a Foreign Citizen to the SEF

Within the scope of administrative offenses related to Accommodation, the failure to communicate the obligation of foreign citizens to stay in a local accommodation establishment stands out, as companies operating hotel establishments, complementary means of tourist accommodation or tourist complexes, as well as all those who provide, for a fee, accommodation to foreign citizens, are obliged to communicate this fact.
Failure to comply with the obligation to communicate the date of entry and exit of a foreign citizen staying in Portuguese territory, implies one of two types of penalty, in the precise procedures of the law.
