On April 2, 2024, Ordinance No. 134/2024/1 was published in Diário da República no. 65, 1st series, which contains the scope, circuit, deadlines, procedure and terms of authorization of the extraordinary update of the price of public contracts for the acquisition of services with a multi-year duration, provided for in paragraph 2 of article 45 of Law no. 82/2023, of December 29 (State Budget Law for 2024).
In view of this Ordinance, it is important, from the outset, to answer the first question: “to which contracts does it apply?”.
