Professional experience:
Lawyer internship at Graça Moura, Pimenta, Paiva Brandão & Associados. Shortly after completing the internship (2001), joined the law firm Valença, Machado & Associados, and became a partner in 2008. In 2013, Joana founded the law firm JDS Advogados, a project she managed and which remained active until February 2018.
Associate of the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Member of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA).
